    The prices below are typical for a full-color e-mail, Internet or PDF newsletter, and include light editing (if the client writes the articles) or full writing (if we write the articles), insertion of client-supplied photos, design/layout and an average amount of revisions.

 

    The best way to estimate the cost of an electronic newsletter is according to the number of articles that each issue will contain. (In our descriptions below we consider a long article to be about 700 words in length, and a medium-sized article to be 350 words in length.)

 

Prices - If You Write the Articles


   If you write the articles, electronic newsletters cost an average of $75 for each medium-sized article, and $150 for each long article that your issue contains.

    For example, if you wanted an online newsletter that will hold eight medium-sized articles that you write, the cost averages about $600 ($75 X 8) per issue for light editing, design/layout and an average amount of revisions.

 

Prices - If We Write Your Ariticles

    If you want our professional staff to write all your articles, electronic newsletters cost an average of $250 for each medium-sized article, and $450 for each long article that your issue contains.

    For example, if you wanted an online newsletter that will hold eight medium-sized articles that our professional journalists write, the cost averages about $2,000 ($250 X 8) per issue for full writing, design/layout and an average amount of revisions.

 

Important details

    The prices quoted above are averages as of August 1, 2007 and are subject to change. Prices above do not include a one-time initial design and setup charge, which averages about $500 and is added to the cost of your first issue. Distribution cost of the newsletters via e-mail depends on the number of recipients on your list.
